Description

Yogurt Cereal Bars are super yummy and super easy to prepare. They are great to use for dessert or a healthy snack for kids (and adults, too). My two-year-old gives them two messy thumbs up! :)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Corn Flakes
  • ¾ cups Flour, Plus 2 Tablespoons, Divided
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ½ cups Butter
  • 1 cup Flavored Yogurt
  • 1 whole Egg

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350F.

Crust:
Combine cereal, 3/4 cup flour, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in butter or margarine until coarse crumbs form. Press half of the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 8-inch square pan.

Mix yogurt, egg and remaining 2 tablespoons flour in another small bowl. Spread over the cereal mixture in the pan and then sprinkle the remaining cereal mixture on top.

Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown; cut into bars when cooled.

Refrigerate for 3-5 days or freeze until needed!

Fantastic! So easy with just a few ingredients. I made them with strawberry yogurt and they are delicious. My kids (16, 14, and 12) have requested blueberry, lemon and vanilla! Yep, they were a hit in this house!
