Description

Seriously the BEST spinach and artichoke dip ever! I always make double, and it’s always demolished in minutes. Everyone always wants the recipe, so here you go!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ¼ cups Mayonnaise (I Only Use Best Foods Or Hellmans)
  • ¼ cups Romano Cheese, Shredded
  • ¼ cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • ⅛ teaspoons Minced Garlic (dry Seasoning)
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Basil
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Can) Artichoke Hearts, Drained And Coarsely Chopped
  • ½ cups Frozen Spinach, Chopped
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded, Or More As Needed

Preparation

Combine cream cheese, mayo, romano cheese, parmesan cheese, minced garlic, basil, and garlic salt. Mix well until thoroughly combined. Add chopped artichoke hearts and chopped frozen spinach, stirring in by hand.

Spray a baking/serving dish with cooking spray. (A pie plate works well for one batch of this recipe, or use a 9 x 13 dish when doubling.) Pour dip mixture into the pan and spread until level and smooth. Cover liberally with mozzarella. You may want to use MORE than one cup if you want the top extra cheesy.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with tortilla chips or baguette slices and watch it disappear!

Use greek yogurt in place of mayonnaise to make it lighter.

Delicious! I made it without the mozzarella cheese.

This was great and a big hit. My only problem was the cheese quickly solidified after taking it out of the oven, and even after microwaving for a bit it was difficult to break through the cheese shell on top. I’d suggest not using any extra cheese, and plan to eat it fast! It doesn’t travel too well!
