Description

Simple and colorful appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Crescent Roll (2 Cans)
  • 16 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
  • 1 package Dry Ranch Dressing (1 Oz.)
  • ¼ cups Mayonnaise
  • ½ cups Green Pepper, Chopped
  • ½ cups Red Pepper, Chopped
  • ½ cups Broccoli, Chopped
  • ½ cups Carrots, Shredded
  • ¾ cups Cheddar Cheese, Grated

Preparation

Crust:

Unroll crescent rolls and pat into a 15 ½ x 10 ½ x 2 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes at the temperature indicated on the package. Cool

Filling:

Mix cream cheese, ranch dressing mix and mayonnaise. Spread over the cooled crust.

Top Layer:

Sprinkle with chopped vegetables and cheese. Any raw vegetables work nicely on these squares.

Cut into small squares and serve.

These were a big hit at my family’s last outing. Everyone raved about them. I used Italian dressing instead of ranch but I’m sure ranch is just as good.

Using dill instead of ranch sounds good. I’ll have to give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

We call these veggie pizzas. I absolutely love them and they’re a hit at every family event! I make them with dill weed if I’m out of ranch dressing mix and they’re great that way also.
