Description

Made with refried beans, garbanzo beans, and black beans. Perfect for the big game!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 Oz. Size) Refried Beans
  • 1 can (15.5 Oz. Size) Garbanzo Beans
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Cumin
  • ½ cups Finely Chopped Red Onion
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Black Beans
  • 2 whole Large Jalapeno Peppers
  • 2 cups Sour Cream
  • 2 cups Salsa
  • 3 cups Shredded Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Pepper
  • ½ cups Chopped Purple Cabbage
  • ½ cups Chopped Fresh Tomatoes
  • ½ cups Sliced Black Olives
  • ½ cups Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • ½ cups Chopped Green Onions (Including The Chives)

Preparation

In the bottom of a large shallow dish or pan, thinly spread the refried beans. A cookie sheet with sides also works well for this.

Drain the garbanzo beans and add them on top of the refried beans.

Sprinkle the chili powder and cumin on top of the beans.

Finely chop the red onions and add them on top of the beans.

Drain the black beans and add them on top of the garbanzo beans.

Finely chop the jalapenos (remove the seeds if you prefer less heat).

Sprinkle the jalapenos over the beans.

Spread the sour cream over the beans.

Spread your favorite salsa over the sour cream.

Top with the shredded cheese.

Then add the pepper.

Top with the purple cabbage, tomatoes, sliced black olives, cilantro, and green onions.

Serve with your favorite chips.
