Description

My cousin’s recipe for a creamy and delicious guacamole. The secret ingredient is sour cream!

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Ripe Avocados
  • 2 whole Shallots, Minced
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced Finely
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 4 Tablespoons To 5 Tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1 whole To 2 Whole Limes, To Taste

Preparation

Step 1: Cut the avocados, take out the pit and scoop out the insides into a large bowl. Mash the avocados with a potato masher or a fork until you reach the consistency you prefer. (I prefer non-chunky guacamole.)

Step 2: Add the minced shallots and garlic. Mix in the garlic salt and 1 tablespoon of sour cream at a time, depending on how creamy you like it.

Step 3: Add the juice of 1 lime, mix in, then taste test. Add the juice of another lime if you like.

Serve with nachos.

If you don’t have any shallots on hand, replace with red onion.
