Description

This is the fruit dip recipe above all other fruit dips. You’ll never want to dunk your fruit into anything else. Actually, you’ll never want to eat plain fruit again once you’ve had it with this dip.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Whipping Cream
  • 1 block Cream Cheese (8 Oz Size)
  • 1-½ cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1-½ teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy Seeds (optional)

Preparation

Pour whipping cream into medium bowl. With a handheld mixer beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add cream cheese and mix until smooth. Add powdered sugar and almond extract, mix well. Stir in poppy seeds. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Yum, was too thick and I added about another 1/4 cup of cream to loosen it. Great topping for fruit or any dessert. Several people topped my key lime pie with it in lieu of whip cream. The almond cut the sweetness, nice addition to dessert.

I served this at a brunch and everyone raved about this dip. It was so popular I had to make a second batch and it ran out too! Everyone loved it.
