Description

This Chex mix is amazing. It is sweet and salty and OMG heaven.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Chex Cereal
  • 3 cups Corn Chex Cereal
  • 2 cups Bugles (located In The Chips Section)
  • 1 cup Peanuts Or Any Nuts You Like
  • 1 cup Pretzel Sticks
  • 4 cups Popcorn (popped)
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Butter
  • ½ cups Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 2 cups M&M Milk Chocolate Candies

Preparation

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a large bowl, add first 6 ingredients (both cereals, Bugles, nuts, pretzels, and popcorn). Set aside.

In a small sauce pan, combine brown sugar, butter, light corn syrup and cook on low heat until melted. Bring to a boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove sauce pan from stove and add in vanilla and baking soda and mix. Pour this delicious sinful syrup over the the dry ingredients in the large bowl and mix, coating every morsel (just kidding). Coat as much as possible.

Pour onto a couple of cookie sheets and bake for 1 hour, stirring the mixture every 15 minutes so they don’t stick together.

Remove from the oven and pour into a clean large bowl and mix occasionally until completely cooled to break up the pieces.

Once COMPLETELY cool, add in the M&Ms. I use the cool colored ones for different occassions.
