Description

I’ve tasted a few varieties, but most of them don’t have a good consistency (I’m not a fan of soupy dips).

This one is the best. Trust me, I’ve done the research!

Ingredients

  • 2-½ cups Buffalo Chicken Strips, Cooked And Chopped
  • ½ cups Celery, Chopped Fine
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, At Room Temperature
  • ½ cups Ranch Dressing
  • 6 ounces, fluid Hot Sauce (I Use Frank's Red Hot)
  • 4 ounces, weight Monterey Jack Cheese, Grated
  • 9-½ ounces, weight Box Of Triscuits

Preparation

Start by cooking your chicken strips in the microwave according to package instructions. (If you use Tyson’s buffalo strips, you will need 4-5).

While the chicken cools a little, chop up your celery.

Once the chicken has cooled, chop up/pull into small pieces.

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, ranch dressing, chicken, and celery until well blended. Add hot sauce (6 ounces is pretty spicy—you can kick it up or tone it down depending on your preferences!) and mix well.

Spoon into a baking dish, and cover the top with the grated cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and dip is warmed.

Serve with Triscuits and enjoy! Pieces of warm bread or Frito’s scoops work well with this too. I just prefer Triscuits.

So glad to see someone else beside me loves the simplicity but not the soupy. I have made this before with the soupier recipe…guys still liked it. I made this for the 4th and it was loved by all. Thank you for the new version.

This is delicious but, I had to back off on the hot sauce!! It also reheated well a couple of days later.
