Description

An old recipe my mom makes for almost all get-togethers. It’s quick, easy, uses only a few ingredients, and most importantly, it’s deliciously addictive!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Sour Cream
  • 1-½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning (or 1 Store-bought Packet)
  • 1 whole Tomato, Chopped
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning. Mix with a spoon until thoroughly blended together. Spread in a 9×13-inch pan. Top with lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

So quick and easy! I mixed in a little finely chopped onion, tomato, and cilantro for some texture. I also left the goodies off the top to make it easier for dipping. It got RAVE reviews!!

Yum! I make this sometimes (only without the mayo and with the veggies on the side). It’s the best dip!

This dip is great–I added a can of black beans and three sliced scallions. I also used white cheddar cheese instead of regular cheddar. So pretty and delicious!

I made this for a BBQ and everyone loved it–even the kids! Adding the taco seasoning to the sour cream really makes it tasty. Thank you!
