Description

Crock pot BBQ sweet meatballs great for any party or for the big game. You won’t have any left after the party is over.

Ingredients

  • 5 strips Hickory Bacon (cooked)
  • ½ whole Medium Onion, Chopped
  • ½ whole Green Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 1-½ teaspoon Yellow Mustard
  • ½ cups Ketchup
  • 2 bottles Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce (18 Oz Bottles)
  • 32 ounces, weight Frozen Meatballs

Preparation

Cut up the cooked bacon, green pepper, onion and add to the crock post. Mix in the brown sugar. Add the mustard, ketchup and BBQ sauce to the crock pot.

Stir together mixture and turn crock pot on High until the brown sugar has melted.

Add the frozen meatballs. Put enough in where each meatball is covered in sauce. I usually use about 2 pound bag. More meatballs can be added and heated up later if you run low.

After about 2 hours on High your meatballs should be ready to serve. (You can also turn them to low but allow more time to cook).
