Description

Fresh strawberries, sour cream and brown sugar. That’s all, folks. Dip ‘em in sour cream and then in brown sugar. Simple. Delicious. Try it with a clean, crisp Pinot Grigio! DIVINE!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (about 16 Oz. Package) Fresh Strawberries
  • 1 carton (8 Oz. Container) Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar

Preparation

Just grab a bunch of fresh strawberries, give ‘em a rinse, pat ‘em dry and plate on a pretty dish. Place the sour cream and brown sugar in separate bowls and watch them disappear! Take a strawberry, dip it in the sour cream and then into the brown sugar and enjoy! Perfect for happy hour with a cool glass of wine. I swear, even if you LOATHE sour cream, you have to taste this. Mixed with the brown sugar, it becomes a totally different flavor altogether. You’ll be glad you did!

I have been eating fresh strawberries this way for many years after tasting it at a friend’s place. When I put this out for guests they all look skeptical UNTIL they have their first berry! SO DELICIOUS!!!

I’ve had lots of really skeptical looks, but then they try them and can’t believe how delicious these really are! Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll have to try the cinnamon for sure!
