Description

This appetizer is usually a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 2 packages 10 Oz Frozen Spinach, Thawed And Squeezed Dry
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cups Butter, Melted
  • 1 cup Chopped Green Onions
  • 8 ounces, weight Shredded Mozzarella Chesse
  • ½ cups Shredded Romano Cheese

Preparation

There are a few different variations of this recipe, but I like this one the best!

~Lightly grease 9 x 13 baking dish.

~Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

~Place spinach in a medium bowl and microwave until it’s thawed. Use a clean dishtowel to squeeze it dry. Set aside.

~First, in a large bowl, mix flour, salt and baking powder. Next stir in eggs, milk and butter. Lastly, mix in spinach, onion and cheeses.

~Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool before serving and enjoy! Even the kids will like them!
