Description

Great snack for college football Saturdays. Open up a cold long neck and you are good to go!

Ingredients

  • 3 Sleeves Saltines
  • 1 Package Ranch Dip Mix
  • 1 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Tbs Crushed Red Pepper
  • 1 Gallon Bag

Preparation

Mix all ingredients in gallon bag. Rotate to coat saltines with mixture.

It takes several hours for oil to soak in to crackers. I make this the night before I am serving it.

My mom made these and brought them to our son’s birthday party today. People enjoyed them a lot!

Stacy, I’ve made these twice now and everyone loved them! The second time I made them I added a few teaspoons of red pepper flakes to give them some heat. Thanks for the recipe, it’s a keeper!

we love these! i used to send these back to college with my boys. no, they are not baked. i use a huge pickle jar for mine, and also turn every 15 minutes. they will last for a while as long as they are sealed–more likely, they will be eaten first! better the longer they sit.

How would you store these? and how long will they keep? They sound great and I would love to make them.

These are so good! I cut the red pepper flakes in half, and they still have a nice kick to them.

Awesome, Addicting–can’t eat just one. Great for pot lucks at work when you don’t have time to cook.

YUM! These remind me of the snack crackers you buy at the store, but way cheaper. I especially like the addition of red pepper flakes – gives ‘em some heat.

Quick and tasty snack that you can throw together and enjoy without baking! These crackers disappear quickly around here!
