Description

Honeycrisp apple chips sprinkled with cinnamon, sugar and nutmeg.

Ingredients

  • 3  Honeycrisp Apples (or Any Apple You Like)
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt (optional)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 200 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt (if using) in a small bowl. Set aside.

Cut off both ends of each apple and slice the remaining apple very thinly (use a mandoline slicer to make this super easy!). Use a knife to carefully cut out any seeds from the apple slices.

Place apple slices on prepared baking sheets.

Lightly sprinkle apple slices with the spice mixture and rub it in.

Bake for 45 minutes. Flip apple slices over and bake for another 45-60 minutes (or until crispy). Remove from oven and let cool completely (the apple chips will continue to crisp as they cool).

Enjoy!

Very yummy and crispy. My house smells so good right now. I used an electric slicer and they turned out perfect. Thanks for a great recipe
