Description

Slow Cooker Chex Mix, seasoned with ranch, garlic powder, and chili powder for a truly addicting (and easy) snack!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Butter, Melted And Cooled Slightly
  • 1 package (1 Oz. Packet) Ranch Salad Dressing And Seasoning Mix
  • ¼ cups Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Chili Powder
  • 8 cups Chex Cereal (I Used Equal Parts Corn And Rice Chex)
  • 2 cups Pretzels
  • 2 cups Cheez Its

Preparation

Whisk together butter, ranch mix, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and chili powder. Set aside.

Place cereal, pretzels, and Cheez-Its into your crockpot. Mix until everything is well incorporated. Pour sauce over the mix-ins and gently stir until sauce has evenly coated the mix-ins. Important: Place a thin dish towel over your crockpot before placing the lid on. This collects the condensation created during the cooking process.

Set your crockpot to low and cook for 2 1/2 hours, gently stirring every 30 minutes. After 2 1/2 hours, pour mixture onto a rimmed baking sheet and let cool to room temperature.

Serve immediately, or store in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.

Note: Although this is great the day of, I think this actually tastes best after it’s had about a day to sit—the flavors really have a chance to develop!

good combo of things!! however, I would have left off the final 30 minutes of cooking….my crock pot is fairly hot, and I think it’s a little burnt. BUT still edible!!
