Description

A zesty jalapeno ranch dip comes together in just a few minutes with five simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Fresh Jalapenos, Seeds Removed
  • ½ cups Cilantro
  • 1 package Light Sour Cream (16 Ounce Tub)
  • 1 package Ranch Dressing Dry Mix (0.4 Ounce Packet)
  • 1 whole Lime, Juiced

Preparation

In a blender or food processor add your seeded jalapenos. Then pulse the blender a few times just until the jalapenos are broken up into chunks. Add cilantro and pulse a few more times until your peppers and cilantro are broken up.

Add sour cream, ranch mix, and the juice from the lime. Blend until mixture is completely incorporated. Put it into a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving.

Serve chilled. I think this is better the next day when the flavors have had time to meld together, but it can be served immediately.

This dip is very good and so easy to make. Took it to an office party and it was a huge hit. Everyone wanted the recipe. It’s not too spicey, just right for my taste.

Tonight I was making a double batch and noticed I haven’t been using the right size pkg. of ranch dressing mix, Ive been using a 1.0 oz. pkg. instead of 0.4 oz. on a single batch. One way was just as good as the other though. This is a keeper for sure!!
