Description

Simple fresh salsa is so easy to make within minutes using simple ingredients. There’s no need to go out and buy the jarred stuff for a party! Perfect for Cinco de Mayo.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint Grape Tomatoes
  • 1 whole Jalapeno Pepper, Seeded And Chopped
  • ½  Small Onion (peeled And Quartered)
  • ½  Lime, Zest And Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Cilantro
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Cumin

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Run processor for 30 seconds, then scrape sides down. Run it for another 30 seconds to 1 minute until it is pretty smooth but still has a little texture.

Spoon salsa into a pretty bowl and serve immediately with chips. It’s also fantastic over eggs, pork, on tacos, you name it!
