Description

While I was in college I worked at a “California-style” burrito restaurant in downtown Atlanta. The guacamole we served was pretty popular, but one day the dishwasher showed me his favorite way to make guac and I never went back—but I did add tomatoes! This dip ALWAYS gets compliments!

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Avocados
  • 1 bunch Cilantro (small Bunch)
  • 1 whole Jalapeno
  • ½ whole Yellow Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 whole Tomato (2 If Using Roma Tomatoes)
  • 1 whole Lime
  • Salt To Taste

Preparation

Cut the avocados in half and scoop the guts into a big bowl. Finely chop the cilantro, jalapeno (deseeded), onion, and garlic and add it all to the bowl. Dice the tomato and toss it in (be sure to let any seedy goop remain on the cutting board unless you like your guac wet). Sprinkle salt and the juice of the lime over the top. Stir and enjoy!
