Description

Incredibly delicious – yet simple – red salsa.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (14.5 Oz.) Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 cans (4 Oz.) Diced Green Chiles
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 whole Lime
  • 1-½ teaspoon Salt

Preparation

Add tomatoes and green chiles to a food processor bowl (or, in a pinch, blender).

Add cilantro to taste (I usually add all but the thickest stems).

Add juice of one whole lime and the salt. Pulse to desired chunkiness.

If you like a little more heat, you may add some chopped jalapeno to taste.

manda2177: I should have mentioned that (maybe I still will); it is delicious with fresh tomatoes!

This stuff is great! I added 4 cloves of garlic, and the taste was awesome. It’s a little bit runny – I will probably drain the cans before I add them next time. It’s so easy just to toss all these ingredients in a food processor. This will be my go-to recipe for home-made salsa from now on! Thanks!
