Description

The first time I had this dip I was skeptical, but it is really delicious! Perfect for parties! You will want to double the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Buttermilk Ranch Dressing, Made From The Powder Mix
  • 12-½ ounces, weight Canned Chunk White Chicken Breast
  • 8 ounces, weight Softened Cream Cheese
  • ¼ teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • 12 ounces, weight Mexican Shredded Cheese

Preparation

Make the buttermilk ranch dressing according to the package directions.
Chop the chicken chunks finely.
Mix the cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth.
Add the chicken and red pepper flakes to the cream cheese mixture.
Pour the mixture into your favorite baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly, about 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheese over all.
Place back into the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve with your favorite chips or crackers. It would even be great with veggies.

To review myself on this one…I made it recently for a friends party but I took whole herbed tortillas, spritzed with some olive oil spray, and baked for 8 minutes. Break apart after cool and they are cripy delicious with the dip.
Yum!

I too was skeptical, thinking it might be a little boring boring and bland but boy, was I wrong! This just goes to prove that you don’t need a lot of ingredients or anything fancy to make a recipe delicious.
I added in a couple strips of crumbled bacon and instead of baking it threw it in a mini crockpot and it was HEAVENLY. It tasted like a Chicken Club Sandwich without the bread. Will definitely be adding this to my go to dip recipes. THANK YOU THANK YOU!
