I made this as a quick snack tonight. We really enjoyed it. I put in a little too much cilantro, but otherwise it was great. It made enough to fill a 2.5 quart bowl almost to the top!

I’ve searched far and wide and this is the closest to the restaurant I’ve ever found!!!
This recipe can easily be cut in half if you are just making it for yourself or two people. I couldn’t eat the full amount before I started worrying about it going bad.

The best homemade salsa ever! It is easy and tastes phenomenal. I had searched far and wide for a good tasting salsa “with no chunks”, and this recipe does it. My husband (and everyone else that I have served it to) loves it. Thanks PW!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE This salsa!!! I absolutely detest canned salsa! I was so glad to find this salsa that I can make from canned ingredients so that I can have “fresh” salsa all year long! It is very easy to make, and my family loves it. Many times I do not have a jalapeno on hand so I simply omit it, and we like it just as well.

This is the PERFECT salsa. It’s too much to fit in either my blender or food processor, so I make it in 2 batches, which works well for our family, anyways, since I’m a wimp when it comes to heat, and my husband can’t have it hot enough. I end up putting no jalepeno in my half, and all of it in his half. It’s the perfect amount of spice for both of us!

Excellent salsa recipe. I love having such an excellent alternative when fresh tomatoes aren’t in season.

We make this recipe weekly in my house. I have spoiled my husband… he refuses to eat jarred salsa now. I use minimal cilantro since we are not a cilantro loving family, and usually only use half the jalapeno (we love spicy but find the whole jalepeno a little too much). Oh and for those without food processors… I make mine in the blender using pulse
5 mitts for sure!!

This sounds amazing! Do you think this recipe would bottle well? I have a recipe that I bottle every year with fresh produce out of my garden, but I would like to try something like this also… What’s your suggestion??
Thanks!!

LOVE this salsa! I took it to an Indian Taco potluck at work last week and last night to the neighbors w/ chips. I was begged for the recipe, also a good oportunity to put a plug in for PW! The only problem is that I come home w/ very few leftovers to enjoy the next day. Thank You for this keeper forever recipe!

Made a quadruple batch this weekend and canned it. I should have enough for the rest of the year. Made 8 pints. This is the best ever!

Too much juice for my little food processor! I’ll have to do it in two rounds next time, but it still tastes great!

I’ve made this before, and my Texan husband (who is very particular about the authenticity of his Tex-Mex) absolutely loved it! Thanks for sharing, Ree!

Threw this together on Sunday. Had to improvise a bit since our local grocery store is closed on Sunday. Used 2 cans of diced tomatoes w/chopped jalapeno, & dried cilantro (eyeballed it). Threw one can of diced toms and one can of Rotel with all spices in blender…pulsed about 6x’s, poured in bowl and then pulsed the other two cans together and mixed them into the original batch. Made a boat load of salsa! My man & kiddos loved it! Quote “Tastes just like Paradiso.” Mission accomplished.

WOW!! This salsa is AMAZING!!! I’ve been looking for a great salsa recipe and this is it!!! I followed the recipe exactly except for one substitution. Instead of using a Jalapeno I used two Habanero peppers. The flavor was outstanding. My husband took some to work and it was devoured in a matter of minutes. I mean the guys were practically licking the container!
My kids love it too and I have been asked NEVER to buy salsa from the store again and only to make this from now on.

I just made this again, probably batch #1,000, eating it as I type!!!! This is hands down the best salsa recipe ever!! Have been making it for about a year now and have not bought a jar of salsa since. I now make it and can it – YUMMY! Thank you so much for sharing…
