Description

These little treats feature layers of indulgent flavors with a surprising hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups Goat Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Shallots
  • 1 Tablespoon Fines Herbes (or Thyme)
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 24 whole Pitted Dates
  • 6 slices Prosciutto

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Combine goat cheese, minced shallots, fines herbes and black pepper in a bowl, and stir.
3. Slice the dates lengthwise, not cutting all the way through to the other side. Fill each date with 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture.
4. Cut each prosciutto slice into quarters.
5. Wrap each date with a prosciutto piece, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake for 8 minutes or until everything is heated through.
