Description

A delicious appetizer that requires only four ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Sheets Puff Pastry, Thawed
  • ½ cups Honeycup Mustard
  • 12 slices Prosciutto
  • 10 slices Swiss Cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Unfold the puff pastry sheet so it is in one layer. Spread the Honeycup mustard in an even layer all over the puff pastry, leaving about a 1/2-inch border. Line the prosciutto in an even layer on top of the mustard, then the cheese on top of the prosciutto, leaving the border free of any fillings.

Starting at one end, roll the puff pastry as tightly as you can (but not so tight that it rips). Then, with a sharp knife in a sawing motion, cut the puff pastry roll into about 3/4-inch slices. Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry. Once both rolls are sliced, turn the slices on their sides so the fillings are facing up, put on the baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the puff pastry golden brown.

Substitutions: Feel free to swap ham for prosciutto or some sort of cheddar for Swiss.

I didn’t even have a chance to take a pic of these as I was running out of the house with them but boy were they a smash at my friends house warming – everyone loved them :)
