Jalapenos filled with a mix of prosciutto and havarti cheese, then grilled (or broiled) to perfection, make for a quick and easy crowd pleaser!
After removing the tops and seeds of the jalapenos, wrap the cheese pieces with a small piece of prosciutto. (Make sure to portion out the prosciutto so that there is enough for all of the poppers.) After each piece of cheese is wrapped with a piece of prosciutto, stuff it inside the jalapeno as far as it will go. Repeat this process with all of the poppers.
Prepare a grill for medium direct heat (about 350 degrees F). Grill the poppers for about 8 minutes total, 4 minutes each side, or until nice char marks form and the cheese begins to melt.
(These poppers can also be made in the oven under the broiler. If you do this, make sure to watch the jalapenos and let them get charred slightly on each side, turning half way through. They will be ready when the cheese begins to melt and the peppers are charred.)
Pull peppers off the grill and serve! These will be the hit of the party, guaranteed!
