Description

Pimento cheese spread—perfect as an appetizer with pretzels, crackers, or chips. Also spread it on sandwiches and burgers.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • ¼ cups Mayonnaise
  • 4 ounces, weight Jarred Pimentos
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar and mayo. Drain pimentos and chop them into very small pieces. Add pimentos, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder into the cheese mixture and mix well. Refrigerate in an airtight container.

I recently served this quick and easy to make pimento cheese dip for a casual cookout with friends. Served with raw veggies and/or crackers It was a crowd pleaser and certainly a recipe I will serve again.
