Description

Think of all your favorite pizza toppings melted together with cheese, now put it on a cracker, or a chip or even some toasted tortilla chips and you have a dip that is unbelievably good. The best part, everything gets thrown into a bowl, mixed and then baked. How easy! The kids absolutely love this.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces, weight Mushrooms, Chopped
  • 8 ounces, weight Shredded Mozzarella
  • 8 ounces, weight Shredded Cheddar
  • 6 ounces, weight Chopped Black Olives
  • 1-½ cup Chopped Pepperoni
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ cups Chopped Green Onions
  • ½ cups Chopped Green Pepper (optional)
  • 1 jar Green Olives With Pimento

Preparation

Cook the mushrooms in a sauté pan just until tender.

Combine the mushrooms and all the other ingredients in a large bowl. Mix.

Spray a 9×13-baking dish (or a deep dish pie plate) with cooking spray. Place mixture into baking dish and spread to even out. Bake at 350 for 25 – 30 minutes.

Serve with crackers, tortilla chips, or garlic toasts like we did!

*I laid my pepperoni out on a paper towel for 30 seconds in the microwave just to get out some of the grease, and then I chop it up. You will have to do a few batches.

Terrific dip!! I took to a work gathering and brought nothing home. For ease of prep, I used 2 cans of sliced mushrooms (drained) instead of sauteing mushrooms. Also, I put in my dip-sized slow cooker as opposed to cooking in the oven. 2-3 hours on low was all it needed to blend everything together. YUM!

This was fantastic! I was intrigued by this recipe because it didn’t use the traditional pizza /marinara sauce. It was addictive and yummy.

I changed the ratio of ingredients. I used half the amount of mayo and cheese, but used all of the veggies. The only reason I did this was I didn’t want to make a full 9×13″ pan, but rather a 8×8″. I love all the toppings so it didn’t bother me at all that there was a ton of them.

For convenience, I used frozen diced onions, and a can of sliced mushrooms (drained). Still was amazingly delicious with the shortcuts.
