A quick and elegant appetizer fit for company or a simple summertime snack.
I love the blend of savory and sweet with the freshness of the mint.
Peel, core, and slice each pear into 8 wedges. Slice the prosciutto into strips. Wrap a mint leaf lengthwise around the each pear wedge. Then wrap a strip of prosciutto crosswise around the pear wedge and mint. You shouldn’t need a toothpick or anything to hold it in place because the proscuitto will stick to itself.
Arrange them on a plate so it looks like you worked really hard, then enjoy the fruits of your labor.
