Description

I love these! They are hit whenever I make them.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, Grated
  • 2 Tablespoons Romano Cheese, Grated
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Oregano
  • ½ teaspoons Basil, Chopped
  • ½ teaspoons Parsley, Chopped
  • 3 whole Zucchini
  • 1 whole Egg, Or More As Needed
  • ¼ cups Milk
  • 1 cup Spaghetti Sauce Or Ranch Dressing, For Dipping

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.

Place bread crumbs, cheeses, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and parsley in a Ziploc bag. Shake well to combine; set aside.

Cut each zucchini lengthwise into 8 pieces; cut each piece in half horizontally.

Beat egg and milk in a shallow bowl.

Dip each zucchini in the egg and milk mixture, then coat with the crumbs. Place on the coated cookie sheet. Repeat with the rest of the sticks.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until brown and tender.

Serve with warm spaghetti sauce. You could also serve them with ranch dressing, if you like.

These look yummy! My mother-in-law gave me some zucchini last night and I wasn’t sure what I was going to make with them…now I do! :)

Great side dish recipe – quick, easy and yummy. They didn’t get as crispy as they look in the picture but other than that, very good!

Very good! My husband doesn’t usually like zucchini and he went for seconds! So easy to make I had my son do this while I manned the grill. :)
