Mushrooms can be served whole for an appetizer or sliced as a sauce over beef.
Melt butter and bouillon. Add mushrooms, garlic powder, onions, and pepper. Sauté for a minute or so. Pour wine over top and cook until most liquid is gone.
Notes:
The measurements for garlic powder and onion are very loose and should be done to taste. Also, when all I have is a regular bottle of white wine and not a specific kind or 1.5 liter, I just use what I have. It all works out.
This is great with whole mushrooms served as an appetizer, or you can slice the mushrooms prior to cooking and serve over a steak.
