Description

After making salsa the long, authentic way, I have come up with a short-cut that is just as good, if not better! Only a few ingredients and a little bit of time and you will have the BEST salsa ever! Might want to make a double batch because it will disappear fast!

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 whole Jalapenos
  • 2 cans Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • ¼ bunches Cilantro
  • ½ whole Lime
  • Salt

Preparation

In a small pan add a bit of olive oil, the garlic and the jalapenos. The amount of seeds you leave with the jalapenos will determine how hot the salsa will be.

Add the tomatoes, handful of cilantro, juice from half the lime, and salt…I add about a teaspoon? (I eyeball it…LOL!)to the blender.

Once the garlic and jalapenos are roasted up, add them to the blender and blend!

Pour into a bowl and enjoy. I love the Multi-grain tortilla chips by Tostitos.
