Description

This cheese ball is my Mom’s famous go-to for every occasion. It’s incredibly good and is supposed to be a family secret. Shhhh…don’t tell her I shared it with you.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages Cream Cheese, Softened (8 Ounce Packages)
  • 2 cups Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion, Finely Diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Pimento, Finely Diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Green Bell Pepper, Finely Diced
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 cups Chopped Pecans

Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients but the chopped pecans; mix well. Shape into two balls and roll in chopped pecans to coat. Cover and chill. Serve with crackers and try not to eat the whole thing.

It will make two balls. :) No telling how many it will actually serve, especially when my husband sees it.

Do you mean it will make 2 balls or will it only serve 2 people?

I want you to know that I made 12 of these cheese balls last night (divided them into two, so 24 total) to sell at a benefit for a co-workers family today. They sold so fast that they were gone in the first 1/2 hour. They are absolutley delicious and as I kept the name of them as “Mom’s cheeseball”. This will be my “go-to” cheese ball now. Thanks for sharing!
