Description

My mom’s cheese ball has always been a thing of legend. Sadly, she passed away very unexpectedly just last month leaving me, my family and countless others in a huge state of shock and sadness, especially my father.

She was an amazing lady. This cheese ball is guaranteed to be consumed in its entirety at any get-together.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Velveeta Cheese
  • 8 ounces, weight Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • 1 bag (8 Oz. Bag) Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 block (8 Oz. Block) Cream Cheese
  • 1 pinch Garlic Salt
  • 1 pinch Onion Juice Or Powder
  • For Serving: Assorted Crackers: Ritz, Triscuits, Wheat Thins, Any Gourmet Crackers

Preparation

1. Let all of the cheeses sit out on the counter and allow them to reach room temperature.

2. Dump cheeses into a large bowl and sprinkle just a tiny bit of garlic salt and onion juice or powder over the top.

3. With clean hands, thoroughly mush and mix the ingredients together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed (trust me, you won’t need very much at all).

4. Transfer to a serving platter or large plate and shape into a ball- or any other shape (a football if you’re watching a game, for example)!

5. Wash hands (duh) and arrange an assortment of crackers around the cheese ball. Be legit and have one of those little fancy butter knife things handy.

Enjoy!
