Description

Oh yes. Crispy, crunchy tasty goodness. So simple!

Ingredients

  • 3 whole Potatoes (red Or White)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned Salt (Any Kind)

Preparation

Measurements are approximate!

First, slice the potatoes. I used a mandoline to get mine thin. (They can be peeled or the skin can be left on – cook’s choice.)

Next, place all your “chips” into a bowl and drizzle with olive oil to coat. Toss ‘em around with some seasoned salt to taste. Get a glass baking dish (9×9, or whatever fits in your microwave).

Place 1 layer of chips down and microwave for 4 to 5 minutes. There is no need to turn them over. Promise.

Repeat until “chips” are all cooked.

Eat. Enjoy. Dip into some ranch.

I’m not a big regular potato chip fan, but I love sweet potato chips. I ususally make them in the oven, but this would be much quicker. Have you ever tried this recipe w/sweet potatoes?

Just to let everyone know, I had some SERIOUS doubts about the taste and texture of these chips. However, I also had some potatos left over from making potato salad, so I decided to make these. They are really good!
