Description

Homemade microwave popcorn. No need to get the store-bought stuff anymore!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Popping Corn
  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

Put the popping corn, oil, and salt into a small paper bag. Seal it up with 2 staples by folding over the top. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or until there’s about 5 seconds between the pops. Remove bag from microwave. Carefully open the bag and sprinkle on the Parmesan. Close the bag with your hands and give it a good shake. Pour into a bowl and enjoy!

Patricia @ ButterYum: I agree, so much better!

Cheryl @ Cheffie Cooks: Yep totally safe, just make sure you only use 2 staples, I would make sure they don’t staple the entire top of the bag :)

We’ve done this – it works pretty well, and it’s so much better than that horrible microwave stuff.

I believe you are on to something here!!! No problem with staples on bag and microwave?! Cautious Cheryl questioning? Before I let the family give this a try I figured I’d better ask you? They like new ideas and things to do independently…Your TK Friend, Cheryl. Pssssst I can see one of mine stapling the entire top of bag now!!!
