Description

Three cheeses, roasted reds and bacon. Could you ask for more?

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 4 ounces, weight Asiago Cheese, Freshly Grated
  • 4 ounces, weight Parmesan Cheese, Freshly Grated
  • 4 ounces, weight Fontina Cheese, Freshly Grated, Divided
  • 1 whole Roasted Red Pepper, Chopped
  • 2 slices Cooked Bacon, Crumbled
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400ºF. If you use red peppers from a jar (in water), pat completely dry with a paper towel.

In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, asiago, parmesan, 3 ounces of fontina, red peppers, bacon and black pepper. Mash thoroughly with a fork until totally combined. Place in an oven safe dish, then top with remaining fontina. Bake for 25 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbly on top. Serve hot with crackers and chips.

This should serve about 4, possibly more depending on the amount of appetizers you have.
