Description

They are super easy to make for a quick snack!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Real Maple Syrup
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Real Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 pound Cashews
  • 2 Tablespoons White Sugar

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with tin foil. Measure out all ingredients and combine the honey, maple syrup and butter. Microwave until butter is melted, about 25-30 seconds. Then add salt, vanilla and cinnamon to the honey mixture and stir. Place cashews in a medium-sized bowl, pour the honey mixture over the nuts and toss. When coated spread on the prepared cookie sheet (forming a single layer) and bake for 6 minutes. Remove from oven, toss again and place back in the oven for 6 more minutes. Remove and pour into a clean bowl, toss with the sugar and a little salt to taste and let cool, stirring occasionally. When completely cool pour into a glass jar with an airtight lid.

I LOVE cashews and love maple syrup so I can’t wait to make them. These sound good enough to wrap up and give as a Christmas present.

…when completely cool pour into a glass jar with an airtight lid. Then lock in steel box with a half dozen locks on it, otherwise, you might never get to eat even one.
Trust me.
DH and his buddies inhaled these.

After baking, I would let them cool in a single layer. Mine were sticking together into one large mass as they cooled in the bowl.

They taste delicious!

Really good! My husband just eats them with a spoon out of the bowl. :/

The recipe is great… I could only find salted cashews so I just omitted the step where you add salt. I also used salted butter because that’s all I had in the house! They taste delicious and I will definitely make these again, especially around the holidays!
