These are yummy. Just made a second batch. This time I had to sub 1/2 cup quick oats in as I didn’t have quite enough rolled oats. Still yummy though. Mine puff up more like bar cookies too. Not sure why. I also used all chocolate chip instead of using any PB chips. I froze some of my last batch and they were great from the freezer. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and have been eating granola bars every day for a snack. I finally looked up this recipe and I have the second batch in two weeks in the oven – love them! I also reduced the sugar and all different things each time: coconut, cranberries, almonds, mini choc chips. This is a recipe I will continue to use for a wholesome snack – Thank you!

These worked out very well. My husband called them more of a “cookie” than a true granola “bar”, but I don’t care as long as he likes them. And he does. I love how I can make these for my kids’ lunches and I know exactly what’s in them. I think next time I’ll throw in some craisins and sunflower seeds and see how that goes over. Thanks so much!

These were great. Nice and chewy. I used 1/2 a cup of peanut butter, 1/2 cup of rice krispies and 1/2 cup raisins instead of the chocolate chips

These are great! I did sub coconut oil for the canola and used less sweeteners. But over all I am very impressed with this recipe and will be using it to replace the boxed granola bars.

This was awesome! I added shredded coconut and white chocolate chips and replaced the egg with ground flax seed. also added some chopped prunes. (the kids never noticed) and added sunflower butter to give it that peanut taste without the peanuts.

This was a great homemade granola bar. I cut back on the brown sugar a bit, and instead of the chips (which I didn’t have) I tossed in a handful each of shredded coconut, dried cranberries, and sliced almonds. Baked for 15 minutes amd they stayed soft and did not crumble after cooling.

We loved these! I made a few changes based on what we had – subbed coconut oil for the canola oil, used white chocolate chips and coconut, and added in a little peanut butter to the wet mixture. so delicious

These were really great!! I made them exactly as your recipe says and then preceded to eat most of them. I do have to say that they are much better the next day!! Thanks for the great recipe!

I made these exactly as your recipe stated and sent them to work with my husband. They were gobled up by all of his coworkers and several proceeded to ask for the recipe. I’d call that a success!

YUM! I made these last week and they’re great. I baked for 15 minutes and they’re nice and chewy. I also toasted some pecans and forgot to mix them in, so I just kind of squished them on top, which worked out well. Thanks for posting.

I’m going to make these for my kids’ lunches. I love that I can put whatever I want in them. I have one question, how do you store these?

I made these last night with my 3 yr old. I measured and he loved dumping the ingredients in the bowl. I love that you can mix and match different ingredients. I made with semi-sweet and white chocolate chips. Tasty.

Had some homemade granola and was looking for a way to make tasty, calorie dense bars for a backpacking trip. Added creamy peanut butter and left out the chips. They were a hit!
