Hoagie Dip

Description
If you’re from Philadelphia, your sandwich is called a hoagie. This dip tastes like a hoagie, looks like a dip! This is a hit at all parties, even though it can be a labor of love!
Ingredients
- ½ pounds Cooked Deli Ham
- ½ pounds Genoa Salami (deli)
- 12 slices White American Cheese In Plastic Sleeves
- 2 cups Hellman's Mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons Dried Oregano
- 2 whole Large Tomatoes
- 1 whole Onion
- ½ heads Iceberg Lettuce
- Hoagie Rolls
Preparation
Chop tomatoes and remove all seeds.
Shred lettuce (you can also use bagged shredded lettuce).
Finely chop onion.
Finely chop lunchmeat and cheese and put them in a large bowl. Spoon mayo over the top and sprinkle with oregano.
Add tomato, onion and lettuce right before serving and mix well. If you add them too soon and let them sit, the dip can get watery.
Tear long sandwich rolls into bite-size pieces and serve.
