Description

Delicious, easy and vegetarian roasted artichoke!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Artichoke
  • 1 Tablespoon Greek Spice
  • Dashes Of Salt And Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Cut off the stem of the artichoke and about 1 inch of the top. Then carefully chop off the sharp ends of each leaf. Pull out a large sheet (big enough to wrap the artichoke in) of aluminum foil and place the artichoke on top.

Liberally add salt, pepper and Greek spice to the artichoke. Be sure to rub it into the leaves.

Place the garlic clove into the center of the artichoke.

Pour olive oil onto the inside of the aluminum foil. Carefully wrap up artichoke, sealing the top. Place in a jelly roll pan and bake for about one hour and 15 minutes.

Remove from oven, allow to cool, and enjoy!

I LOVE THIS! You can only find them at expensive resturants for about $12 each, I got mine at the store for $1.28! Equally delicious, espically dipped in ranch or mayo! yum
