Description

Goat Cheese and Grapes on Flat Bread with Rosemary-Walnut Drizzle, a delicious and simple appetizer.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Toasted, Chopped Walnuts
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Fresh Rosemary
  • 3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste
  • 6 ounces, weight Flat Bread, Broken Into 2- To 3-inch Irregular Pieces
  • 8 ounces, weight Mild Goat Cheese
  • 12 whole Red Grapes, Halved

Preparation

Mix walnuts, rosemary, and oil with salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl.

Spread each flatbread with goat cheese. Top with a grape half and drizzle with oil. (Can be made 2 to 3 hours before serving.) Serve.

Okay….I added the honey drizzle and still took these to a party I was going to and got several positive comments on them. I guess they are just not my favorite.

These are not my one of my favorites. I might try drizzling some honey on them to see if they taste better. Sorry but probably won’t make these again.

I love a thin drizzle of honey with my goat cheese, so I would marinate the walnuts in honey instead of olive oil, it really brings out the flavour of the cheese and the nuts.
