Description

Indian style meatballs, rich and spicy with garam masala. Best served with lots of lime!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Medium Yellow Onions
  • 1 pound Ground Goat, Lamb, Or Beef
  • 2 teaspoons Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Finely Minced Serrano Chilis
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Turmeric
  • 1 whole Egg

Preparation

Mince the onions finely, or chop finely in a food processor. Mix all of the ingredients together. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.

Heat a heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat. Form the meat into small golfball sized balls. Cook the meatballs for a few minutes on each side. The meatballs should still be soft, but should be fully cooked on the inside.

I suggest making one meatball to try first and adjust for salt and spiciness. Then proceed with the rest.

Serve with plenty of lime and sliced onions. Enjoy!
