Description

Who doesn’t love salsa? Here’s a new twist on a great classic staple, just in time for the summer.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Kiwi, Diced
  • 1 whole Gala Apple, Diced
  • 10 whole Raspberries, Chopped
  • 5 whole Strawberries, Hulled And Diced
  • 10 whole Green Grapes, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Turbinado Sugar, Plus More For Sprinkling
  • 10 whole Tortillas, Sliced Into Wedges
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon, For Sprinkling

Preparation

Preheat your oven to about 375 degrees F.

While oven is preheating, grab a large bowl. Combine all of your fruits in the bowl. A helpful tip? I found the raspberries easier to work with if they were slightly frozen.

Combine all of the fruit well, then sprinkle 2 Tablespoons of sugar on top and mix well to combine. You can use plain white sugar if you’d prefer. I like the texture of the turbinado sugar.

Spray a foil-lined pan with some non-stick spray. Spread your tortilla wedges out in a single layer on the pan and spray them with non-stick spray. Coat them with some cinnamon and sugar.

Toss those tortilla wedges in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes until nice and crispy. Dish some of your salsa into a small bowl and serve with the crispy cinnamon tortillas.
