Description

It’s baked. It’s healthy. It’s my favorite recipe for chicken nuggets!

Ingredients

  • 3 pieces Chicken Breasts
  • 8 pieces Carr's Water Biscuits
  • 1 Tablespoon Shan Chana Masala (or Chili Powder Or Chili Flakes)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt And Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Wheat Flour
  • 1 whole Egg

Preparation

1. Cut the chicken breasts into large chunks. Set aside.

2. Pound the Carr’s water biscuits into crumbs.

3. Add the all the seasonings and the flour into the biscuit crumbs. This forms the base coating.

4. Crack an egg into another bowl and beat it. Now you are ready to assemble the nuggets.

5. Dip the chicken into the egg.

6. Then coat with the crumbs/flour mixture and place on a baking sheet.

7. Preheat the oven to 220 C degrees. And bake the nuggets for 15-20 minutes.

Hi Nessienoodle, I think making a big batch and freezing them and later defrozing them in the microwave is a good idea.

However, the chicken will taste very dry. I tried but it didn’t work.

Sorry for the late response.

Just curious if you have made a big batch of these and put them in the freezer for later?
I am thinking it would work just fine but???
