Description

A savory, healthy snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Chickpeas, Drained And Rinsed
  • 2 Tablespoons (heaping) Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cups Olive Oil (more, If Needed)
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons Smoked Paprika

Preparation

Shell chickpeas if you wish. Add chickpeas to a food processor and process until finely ground. Add peanut butter and mix until combined. With the food processor on, stream in olive oil through the top. You may need to add more to meet your desired consistency. Add salt, pepper and paprika and mix.

Garnish with a sprinkling of smoked paprika. Serve with veggies and pita chips.

This recipe makes about 1 1/2 cups.

I make my own hummus using PB, too. The thing I like the most in hummus is the lemon juice. You should try it.

I’m sorry to say, I didn’t care for this. The flavor was just too strange for me. But I’m sure there will be plenty of people out there that will love it! :)
