Description

Delicious little bites of heaven! Perfect as an appetizer or for dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 whole Button Mushrooms
  • ¼ cups Red Bell Pepper
  • ¼ cups Green Onion
  • ¼ pounds Crab Meat
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Cream Cheese
  • 1 slice Lemon
  • ¼ cups Bread Crumbs
  • ⅛ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 dash Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 dash Tabasco
  • Salt And Pepper
  • ¼ cups Melted Butter (optional)
  • 1 dash Garlic Powder (optional)

Preparation

Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Remove stems.

Finely dice the red pepper and green onion.

In a small bowl combine the crab meat, bell pepper, green onion, mayonnaise, cream cheese, the juice of a good-sized slice of lemon, bread crumbs, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and tabasco. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Evenly fill each mushroom cap with the crab mixture. BBQ or cook in a 350ºF oven for 15-20 minutes, or until mushrooms are slightly soft and wrinkled looking.

Optional: Melt butter with a dash of garlic powder. Pour over finished stuffed mushrooms for a little extra sinful yumminess!
