Description

A delicious dip for parties or an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 can (6 Oz. Can) White Lump Crab Meat Drained
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Or Fresh Chopped Chives
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
  • ¼ cups Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 package Your Favoite Chips Or Crackers

Preparation

Whip cream cheese till light and fluffy. Add all other ingredients and mix very well. I add cayenne pepper to taste. ( I like spicy.)

I make this early in the morning so it is firmed back up and cold before I serve it at parties or for a late night snack.

I have doubled and tripled this recipe several time and there never seems to be any left at the end of the party.

This can also be served with a veggie tray.

Sounds great! I have tried a similar dip that calls for a little bit of horseradish as well! Can’t wait to try this one!

Made this for a party and it was the first dip finished- everyone loved it. It was a tad spicy so next time I would dial down the cayenne for guests (for myself it was perfect as is, but it may be too spicy for some). Also thought that the lemon flavor could be overwhelming for some that may not be a big fan of lemon.
