Description

There are many variations on this dip, but this recipe from my friend Mariann is by far my favorite. Creamy, spicy, cheesy….I could probably make this a meal! Don’t worry, I won’t!!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • ½ cups Frank's Wing Sauce
  • 10-½ ounces, weight Canned Chicken Breast
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 370 degrees F.

Microwave the cream cheese in an oven-proof dish for 1-2 minutes. I use the same dish I’ll be baking the dip in, since I’m not a fan of clean up.

Give the softened cream cheese a good stir and add the chicken and the wing sauce. I do this with a fork so I can mash the chicken up a bit.

At this point, taste the dip (my favorite step!) and see if you need to add more hot sauce. If you do, go for it.

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top and place the dish in the oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.

Can it be any easier?

You can use any kind of dipper you like; carrot or celery sticks, or tortilla chips or crackers.
Enjoy!

This entire recipe can be made in the microwave using the Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker…..chicken and all in about 30 minutes from start to finish! The amounts of wing sauce (hot sauce) and cream cheese are different and you use 3 chicken breast. This dish is really good!

My recipe is slightly different but we do sometimes “make it a meal…”!!! We figure if you use crackers and celery sticks as dippers and then add some fresh fruit on the side you have all of the four food groups covered!:) It’s not a normal happening but it’s fun the mix-up meal time once in a while.
