Description

This recipe was given to me by a wonderful lady at my church named Cissy. She brought this cheese ball to a ladies Christmas brunch and it was love at first bite! I was amazed at how simple the recipe was, considering how awesome it is!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Green Onions, Chopped
  • 1 jar (2.25 Oz. Jar) Dried Beef (Chipped Beef), Drained
  • 2 blocks (8 Oz. Block) Cream Cheese, Softened

Preparation

Chop green onions and dried beef very finely. (I use an electric mini food chopper. I cheat.) Add beef/onion conglomeration to softened cream cheese in a large bowl. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

Shape mixture into a ball-like form. Wrap in Saran wrap, wax paper, or foil. Set inside a bowl and refrigerate for 2 days. (Gotta give all of the flavors a chance to soak into the cream cheese, so to speak.)

After 2 days of letting the cheese ball bask in all its glory in your refrigerator, unwrap this yummy concoction, re-shape, and serve with crackers of your choice.

Try adding a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and a teaspoon of garlic powder to the cream cheese before adding the beef and onion!! Makes it even better!! :)
