Description

Cilantro-based dip, condiment, sauce base, or marinade. Goes on tons of foods, great for seafood, Mexican food, chicken, beef, pork, etc. Even good on breakfast tacos.

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves Fresh Garlic
  • ½ whole Lime, Juiced
  • 2 whole Jalapenos, Cored And Seeded (wear Gloves)
  • ¾ cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry Ranch Dressing Mix/Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 5 bunches Cilantro (chop Off From Tie Down), Plus Reserve Some For Garnish
  • 2 cups Cottage Cheese
  • ¼ cups Sour Cream

Preparation

In a blender, place garlic cloves, juice of lime, jalapenos, mayonnaise, ranch powder, salt and 3 bunches of cilantro. Blend until smooth.

Add the rest of the cilantro (save a bit for garnish) and blend again until smooth. (At this stage, the mixture of green stuff is a great marinade.)

Add cottage cheese and sour cream. Blend until very smooth.

Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking.

I love it tossed on shrimp and on salads, I have even heard it being used with eggs.

The serving size really doesn’t matter because it just depends on how much you use and what you use it for.
