Description

3 ingredients (not counting pepper), and everyone loves this!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
  • 1 bunch Green Onion
  • 1 package (2.5 Oz. Package) Dried Chipped Beef (found With Luncheon Meat)
  • Ground Black Pepper To Taste (optional)

Preparation

Place cream cheese in a bowl. On a cutting board, chop onions (both the white and green parts) and add to the bowl. Place the beef in a bowl, breaking apart into pieces and adding hot water to cover. After around 3 minutes, drain away the water. Chop the beef to the approximate same size as the chopped onions and add to the bowl. Don’t use the food processor to chop onions and beef because they get chopped too finely. Add ground pepper to taste.

Combine until the beef and onions are distributed evenly (I use my hands, but you could use a wooden spoon). Form into two balls and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving. Overnight is even better. Serve with plain crackers or bagel chips.
